The Job
Xandr is looking for experienced cloud architect that will be responsible for the strategy, planning and implementation of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. In this role you will provide both technical and collaboration leadership with multiple stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for providing technical standards, guidance and coaching to teams working to deliver strategic technology goals leveraging cloud services. You’ll also work with product and technical leadership to create roadmaps and set delivery expectation. As a technical leader you’ll architect and implement hybrid cloud solutions that are high quality, secure, easy to operate and maintain, and lessen support burden.
You Will
Contribute materially to a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the cloud adoption model.
Provide technical leadership to hybrid cloud team including project planning, delegation, and cross-functional project co-ordination.
Offer guidance in application migration techniques including hybrid cloud, lift & shift, etc.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Regularly evaluate cloud applications and services, hardware, and software and occasionally implement POCs using them.
Work closely with cyber security and GRC (governance, risk management and compliance) teams to plan and implement the company's cloud security and compliance policies and procedures.
Design, develop, and implement system applications and infrastructure services including hardware integration and configuration and software development.
Modify and maintain existing infrastructure services.
Work cross-functionally to create and document requirements, develop, and deliver solutions.
Provide systems expertise across the organization for addressing engineering and operational issues.
Identify deficiencies in current system designs and recommend solutions.
Identify system scaling limitations and recommend and implement improvements.
Regularly evaluate and recommend emerging cloud applications and services, hardware, and software to improve service, reduce cost, and scale better.
You Have
Bachelor’s degree or higher, foreign equivalent, or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience or coursework in systems engineering with extensive experience in most of the following:
Linux/UNIX fundamentals including TCP/IP networking
Public Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) including security, compliance, and automation
Automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Common infrastructure technology and services (DNS, DHCP, SNMP, NTP, HTTP, LDAP, Kerberos, Radius, SMTP)
