Overview:

 

Chubb Digital North America eConsumer division (Blink by Chubb) is the organization charged with developing newly available technologies and end user design principles to build the insurance business of the future for digitally savvy consumers. As the first endorsed brand for Chubb in North America, the Blink by Chubb team is developing new insurance products, a re-engineered consumer user experience and expanded distribution partnerships and marketing programs for consumers with lifestyles that demand an easy, effortless insurance journey end-to-end.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the VP, Digital Head of Distribution NA eConsumer, with a dotted line to the SVP, eConsumer for North America, the API Product Owner and Head of Partner Connections is accountable for visioning and leading the build of the distribution partner digital experience for consumer insurance buyers, starting with owning the sales customer journey and feature roadmap.  Day-to-day responsibilities involve collaborating with the Blink leadership team to ideate and implement partner journeys, working with agile methodologies and engaging and influencing across disciplines including product development, technology, operations, UX/UI, digital marketing, analytics, and vendor partners.  Critical to success will be a deep connection to the consumer customer and distribution partner priorities to develop a robust and deployable digital product driving the achievement of new business production goals.  Duties will include:


  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and understand industry best practices and emerging trends in the InsurTech space

  • Analyze customer segments to understand how digital assets can add value and address pain-points 

  • Scope and define solutions to digital solution gaps, own the sales customer experience roadmap, define features/functionality and prioritize efforts based on business need and opportunity, technology/resource costs, etc.

  • Develop, launch and optimize digital assets via agile teams, serving as leader of the Sales Agile team, aimed at building a “center of excellence” for flexible, robust digital technology platforms that drive business growth and provide high quality and modern customer experiences at all digital touch-points

  • Collaborate across internal and external business and technology partners to define requirements and prioritize sales features/functionality; link to the service and claims roadmaps 

  • Select and negotiate contracts with the appropriate vendor/partner to achieve stated goals

  • Usher digital product projects forward – address questions, define requirements, report on status to Chubb Digital leaders, etc. for this highly visible emerging business

  • Employ rapid, test-and-learn approach to launching and optimizing digital assets for consumer engagement, retention, purchase conversion, NWP, etc.

Qualifications:


  • 10 – 15 years of business management experience, insurance/financial services preferred

  • 2 – 3 years of digital product experience, as product owner/manager or voice of customer lead

  • Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies

  • Experience working across business and IT, preferably on digital initiatives focused on customer/agent facing solutions

  • Demonstrates strategic vision to drive feature prioritization and development for both immediate term and longer-term digital product builds

  • Passionate about understanding end users’ needs and preferences; applies data and research methodologies to make fact-based decisions

  • Familiar with digital marketing concepts, including email campaigns, SEO and web-site tagging

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change efforts with a track record of success in innovation ventures

  • Conversant in business process optimization and automation concepts
