What you’ll Do:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing
Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
Understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open source agile testing frameworks.
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
Experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP and Deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Chef, RPM, Docker, AWS (ECS, ECR), Terraform, etc. will help us on our exciting journey
Experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
Work with product owners, UX and other business partners to define work for the team
Mentoring other engineers, having a voice in defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team
Must Haves:
BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required
10+ years’ experience in software development primarily in Microsoft stack of technologies (.NET, C#, SQL Server, Angular)
8 + yrs of experience in .Net, .Net framework 4.5, AJAX, and JSON
7+ yrs in RDBMS ( Oracle, SQL server)
5+ yrs of experience in UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap)
3+ yrs of experience in Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Subversion) and build tools like Maven
Extra Points for any of the following
Big Data, Postgres, NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, Neo4J)
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka and/or Hadoop or NoSQL such as Cassandra
Agile environments
Software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), automated testing,, continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD)
Shell scripting languages
Cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service)
Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
Experience working in financial services
