OVERVIEW

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Asset Management Consultant to join our Asset Management group in any CHA office or remote.

Building and maintaining safe, cost-efficient pipeline, utilities and public works systems requires a firm understanding and appreciation for the complete life cycle of an asset. CHA is an innovative leader with extensive experience in all aspects of asset management, long range capital and system planning, integrity assessment, regulatory strategy, compliance, and data management services. Our goal is to help our customers effectively manage capital assets while minimizing the costs associated with owning and operating them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Asset Management consultant is responsible for providing asset lifecycle planning and services to clients. The individual will support a growing Business Practice by applying technical and business skills and driving opportunities for new business.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

    Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred (including engineering, computer science, or management disciplines)
  • Post Graduate Education (Graduate Level Courses Short Courses, Masters, Ph.D.) preferred

  • IAM Certificate or Diploma preferred

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • 7-10 plus years of relevant experience in the transportation, water or utilities sectors, and knowledge of the asset lifecycle stages.

  • Strong data management and database skills

  • Proven experience in consulting or a similar role in developing organizational capability and performance improvement from within an organization.

  • Experience in change management a must.

  • Working knowledge of asset management best practices - including ISO-55000, EPA or APWA Asset Management frameworks

  • An active member of local professional organizations - including the Institute of Asset Management

  • General knowledge of GIS/CMMS

  • Prior experience supporting PACP condition assessment or pavement management is highly desirable
