Job Summary

The Business Excellence Manager will be based in SLC,UT. In this position, you will be responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Lead Lean deployment and Transformation across the site.


• Conduct External Kaizen Workshop yearly identifying critical projects through Kaizen to Business Needs.


• Conduct Internal Kaizen Events as required to drive efficiency in the programs.


• Simplify Center Point usage to make sure more employees submit projects.


• Create a roadmap at the beginning of the year to plan the year out with EKW, IKW's and boot camp.


• Drive Green belt certification in the site.


• Conduct weekly staff meeting presenting lean KPI's.


• Drive CIMT score of the site.


• Plan customer visits and plant tours.


• Executive visits


• Lead HPU improvements in the site.


• Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related.


• 4+ years of experience in Engineering and Lean Management


• Microsoft Office, Auto cad


• Excel: reports, pivot, macros.


• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Experience in Cost Savings year over year documented


• Problem solving tools expert


• Professional and experience in customer presentations


• Lean manufacturing- Green Belt certification


• Analytical & Problem solver


• Teamwork

• Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus


• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification good to have
