**This position can be based near Tremont, Sardis or Columbus, MS***

This is a skilled position requiring the individual to manage multiple sites and a variety and functions related to the aggregate crushing operations. The position reports to the manager over the aggregate operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily operations, scheduling equipment, and manpower.

  • Assure that company operations are conducted according to highest standards with regards to safety performance, employee relations, environmental, quality products, workmanship, ethical standards, community relations, production levels, and profitability expectations.

  • Manage inventory levels at multiple production locations.

  • Manage multiple plant/site locations to ensure efficient aggregate mining, processing, and crushing.

  • Ensure compliance with MSHA standards.

  • The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise 25 to 35 people.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience


  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business is preferred. 

  • A minimum of 5 years experience with a strong background in aggregate crushing; or equivalent combination or education, experience and training.

  • Ability to read and dictate detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook software.

  • Standard Driver’s License required.
