HR Business Partner
(12-18-month assignment)
Greenville, MS (Willing to relocate)

The HR Business Partner will have a critical role to play in driving short- and long-term transformation for the GRV (Greenville) site in partnership with the Site Director and the GRV Site Leadership Team. The primary goal of the P&O(HR) BP is the successful delivery of Mars signature processes and site-specific initiatives that drive overall unit effectiveness as well as delivery of the strategic and operational site agenda in line with Mars' Five Principles.

This role will act as the lead Culture champion and implement programs to drive awareness and thorough understanding of the Essence of Mars including the Associate Concept, Mars Five Principles and People Leadership. The incumbent will partner with CoEs (Associate Relations, Talent Acquisition) to step change our current practices. They will also drive ownership with the Site Leadership Team to ensure a robust pipeline of programs that promote associate advocacy, foster associate engagement and build a more inclusive and diverse culture at the site.
This is a 12-18-month assignment role with the goal of implementing the right programs and initiatives to ensure long lasting change at the site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field.


• 5 or more years of progressive HR experience


• P&O Generalist experience working at senior levels across different segments


• Solid knowledge of global and local policies and practices and understand their application in solving business needs and ability to provide guidance


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Effective in building relationship at all levels


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, using a comprehensive approach with strong attention to detail


• Good business acumen / business experience


• Strong consulting skills and ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome


• Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity and prioritize on business needs and resources

Key Responsibilites:

• 
  Site Effectiveness - Manage and deliver on site specific projects, embed and continually improve Mars signature programs and P&O foundations into the organization, by interfacing with and educating Line Managers, and communicate emerging business needs to CoEs.


• 
  Business Leadership - Partner with the Site Director, the GRV Leadership Team as well as the VP P&O to achieve the goals aligned with the people agenda and business strategy, provide leadership to the business, and ensure associate advocacy.


• Talent & Organizational Health - Support the Site Director and VP P&O in implementing talent and organization strategies that drive significant improvement of our leadership pipeline. Coach Line Managers to develop and grow associates, and continuously improve Associate Engagement.


• 
  EI&D - Drive ownership for the EI&D strategy in partnership with the Site Leadership Team to drive a step change in how we recruit talent into the site as well as implement programs and initiatives to build a more inclusive and diverse culture.


• 
  Driving Transformation - Partner with Site Leadership and Line Managers to drive transformation of the culture and embed the Essence of Mars.
