Intern - Technical Service/Applications Engineering ‏ (Semiconductor Materials)

YOUR ROLE


  • Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.
  • Operate physical/analytical equipment for material testing and high-precision machines to assemble parts and samples for application testing
  • Gather and summarize data and interpret data in a scientific manner.
  • Support equipment installation and maintenance and be responsible for general laboratory clean-up and other general lab duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines, tools, and coming up with new ideas. Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Candidate will work with chemicals and must be able to follow safe work practices and protocols.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing laboratory work. May be required to reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
