This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

The Technician IV role works onsite at our Andover Technology Renewal Center. They read/interpret schematics, printouts and specifications as needed to complete tests to determine the functionality of function area. They also ensure testing instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis. Additionally, they participate with the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing procedures, equipment, products etc. They create new test programs/procedures as needed for new technology. Lastly, they provide customer service to our clients over the phone.

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically an Associate's degree or equivalent, preferably in hardware engineering or computer science.


• May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 4-6 years experience as hardware technician or field service engineer/technician.


• Overall understanding of enterprise equipment (not PC's or desktops).


• Ability to understand technical documentation and instructions.


• Strong communication skills for customer support.


• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
