Facilities Technician
The Facilities Technician will participate in all engineering/maintenance operations throughout the club. The incumbent will be skilled in various areas of maintenance including HVAC plumbing, electrical and building maintenance and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for general maintenance and repairs in all club areas
Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment
Maintain all building related systems and the building itself to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees, and vendors
Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting
Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Performing work orders as assigned

Respond and provide aid if you are properly trained in medical or other emergencies
Ability to multi-task in a faced paced, high pressure environment
Will be expected to perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Must have 3-5 years of experience of HVAC knowledge, electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity, plumbing knowledge, and/or related fields
Must have attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certifications in related fields preferred.
Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 50 lbs.)
Must have experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment
Previous hospitality maintenance experience is preferred, preferably in a club, hotel or related field
Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced position with member interaction
Must be able to multi-task
Compensation
Starting at $17-$20 per hour
