Help us on our mission to create best in class digital experiences in the Commercial Bank at JPMorgan Chase.

We are looking for a creative and resourceful Product Designer to join our Commercial Bank Digital team.

As the ideal candidate, you will create best-in-class digital product experiences across various financial touch points, channels and entire eco-systems while participating in the end-to-end design process. You will uphold the tenets of leading with empathy and customer-centricity as you work with product managers, engineers, researchers, writers, designers, marketing, legal, and senior business executives to transform end-to-end customer experiences.

You thrive in highly ambiguous situations and enjoy solving complex problems. Your work will have reach and impact on a large scale in the financial services sector while working in a creative, dynamic and multicultural environment.

Location - NYC (this is not a remote role)

We have started coming back into the office on a hybrid basis with the candidate expected to be based in NYC full time. This is not a remote role.

Key responsibilities


  • Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including journey maps, storyboards, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, etc.
  • Execute a variety of design tasks to align with our product deadlines
  • Apply, maintain, and build upon design systems to ensure consistent designs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, subject matter experts, copywriters, and legal
  • Understand and document user research findings and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Deliver wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity screens, and visual assets to support the product development process
  • Create click-through prototypes, presentations, and videos to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders
Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • +2-5 years of work experience in the product design field
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate abstract design concepts visually and verbally in a clear and engaging manner
  • Proficiency in design, prototyping, and presentation software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Invision, and Keynote
  • Experience in the application of design systems such as Material Design
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (e.g., products, websites, mobile apps, etc.)

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology
  • Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design
  • Familiarity with financial and real estate terminologies
  • Technical knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Video editing skills (iMovie, FinalCutPro, or other video editing software)
