Our company and team are GROWING! Join us today as an Event Assistant if you enjoy working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment with a fun team!

We are looking for someone who can start ASAP and assist with events during nights and weekends in Meridian, ID and surrounding areas.

As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Field Marketing team in our attendance at community events. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up events, interacting with community members regarding TDS Fiber's products and services, coordinating supplies/equipment, and taking down event materials.

Please note, this is a temporary position that will pay $17/hr.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be to assist Field Marketing team, which includes but is not limited to:

    Setting up events
  • Interacting with community members

  • Coordinating supplies/equipment

  • Taking down event materials

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications


  • 1+ years' customer service, sales, event, or marketing experience.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Other Qualifications


  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate to support marketing needs.

  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of direct marketing concepts and terminology.

  • A willingness to take on new assignments.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • A positive attitude and a customer-service focus.

  • Ability to finish tasks/projects in a timely manner.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency with PC software applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Thorough understanding of communications environment, products and services.

  • Ability to work as a team player within all TDS business units.

  • Ability to stay focused on the task at hand while dealing with distraction and interruption.
