Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations for compensation and benefit actions that result in attracting and retaining top talent. Working in a national organization within a labor relations environment, you will navigate various shift differentials, incentive programs, and various pay premiums to provide guidance to partners within the organization. You will manage the daily administration of all compensation plans, reconciles issues and frequently audit the compensation practices for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities :
§ Execute the organization's compensation strategy so that outcomes meet current and future business needs and are consistent with the organization's desired internal and external market position.

§ Responsible for the administration of the company's 401(k) and defined benefit plans.

§ Responsible for the timely processing of all compensation transactions outlined in current collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).

§ Develops, implements, and manages sales commission plans.

§ Responsible for the administration of incentive programs, severances, bonuses, and salary structure adjustments. Facilitate the annual performance management, compensation, and merit process.
§ Researches and understands the current and upcoming competitive markets for employee pay.
§ Provides ongoing job benchmarking, compensation survey assessment and analysis, and competitive market intelligence and insight to GardaWorld business leaders.

§ Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

§ Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience.
§ 2+ years of experience specifically in a compensation related role.
§ Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization.
§ Intermediate to advanced skill level in excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs.

§ A collaborative and team focused attitude.

§ Must be organized with an ability to manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

§ SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
§ Experience working in a union environment.
