About the Position


Logistics at CM moves freight and information between CM, suppliers, and customers. This position contributes to CM’s continued success ensuring Logistics suppliers’ payments, claims, and profiles are accurately maintained. This person provides Logistics functional focus compiling data and making recommendations in support of cost and service continuous improvement.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.



  • Update, validate, and correct logistics and logistics services payment files.

  • Compile and publish daily, weekly, and monthly Customer Logistics scorecards.

  • File, maintain, and report loss claims with Logistics’ suppliers.

  • Update Customer Logistics’ data synchronization (datasync) for CM customers.

  • Investigate historical data to resolve cost and service discrepancies.

  • Develop knowledge and experience in CM and Transportation partners, business, industries, suppliers, and customers.

  • Develop knowledge and experience in data availability and organization across CM departments.

  • Assist with Customer Logistics decision making processes: provide analytical, planning, and administrative support for service improvement, risk management, cost containment, and loss prevention initiatives.

Leadership and Technical Skills:



  • Objective, Curious, Organized, Analytical, Conceptual.

  • Understanding or willing to learn data analysis and statistics.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Professional written and spoken communication skills, (Up, Down, across).

  • Understanding or willing to learn business systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, EDI).

  • Understanding or willing to learn transportation modes, processes, and bills of lading.

  • MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or Logistics.
