Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is looking for an experienced Software Engineer II who will work on our Elera commerce platform. The developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development. In this role, you'll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform.
Required skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
3-5 years professional experience in software development
Understands Object-oriented design and common development patterns
Strong Java skills
Strong Java framework (e.g. Spring) knowledge
Understanding of OpenAPI driven Restful API/microservice development
Understanding of Test Driven Development
Understanding of build tools like Maven, Ant etc.
Good source control management fundamentals (Git)
Good debugging and analytical skills
Scrum methodology experience and able to actively participate in story grooming
Must be able to independently analyze and work of requirements
Understand and be part of whole software development life cycle
Preferred skills:
Behavior Driven Development experience (Cucumber)
Familiarization with containerization (Docker)
NoSQL experience (MongoDB)
Typescript/JavaScript experience
Linux operating systems familiarity
