Job Description:

The Process and Quality Improvement advisor reports to the Shared Services Director within Evernorth/Alegis home solutions. This role will identify, charter, lead, and coach business improvement projects that support quality, growth, customer/patient satisfaction, and productivity for both the Chronic Care and Health Risk businesses. Leads multiple projects simultaneously and coaches multiple Home Care Solutions employees through a defined project methodology to build skills and successfully deliver projects. Serves as a trusted business partner for organizational leaders by developing and delivering innovative solutions with broad impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

Project Leadership:


  • Provide thoughtful hands on leadership with an emphasis on trust, accountability, quality, and respect

  • Facilitate and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, quality, compliance, transparency, technology, and efficiency/automation

  • Provide project oversight, leadership, and management for ongoing and new Operational Excellence projects as assigned by Director, Operational Excellence.

  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to deliver on business objectives and create innovative solutions.

  • Navigate and eliminate organizational barriers to ensure that project team is effective in reaching project goals.

  • As appropriate, develop presentations and deliver to executive and other leadership.

Project Development:


  • Analyze business and develop project proposals and business cases, including measurable benefits, to contribute to an Operational Excellence project pipeline.

  • Advise Operational Excellence management and consult with business unit management on opportunities for improvement based on business cases.

Problem Solving:


  • Apply analytical / quantitative approach to problem solving; obtain data and analyze using statistical concepts to identify root causes and solve complex problems.

  • Apply understanding of business strategy, processes, systems, clients, stakeholders, and end users to develop and deliver innovative and comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and six to eight years of project management, IT management, or analytics experience.

  • Lean Sensei, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or management consulting training/experience/certification strongly preferred, including demonstrated success leading/coaching Greenbelts and/or other professional level positions.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering creative recommendations and solutions

  • Demonstrated successful kaizen facilitation, preferable experience with training/certification of organizational kaizen leadership.

  • Must be adaptable to working with all levels of the organization across various operational excellence platforms.

  • Must possess excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, persuasive ability, attention to details, proactive self-starter.

  • Prior healthcare experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite for the position.

  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%)

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
