What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an Architect who possesses architecture and design skills in building complex and scalable solutions. You should be passionate about new trends and technologies while realizing the challenges in modernizing existing applications.

Principal Responsibilities

Awesome Things You’ll Do:


  • Define product high-level design guidelines and select frameworks and libraries to be adopted.

  • Supervise and coordinate the assigned team and collaborate with Product Development manager to evaluate developers' performance.

  • Contribute in first person to the development of software, with particular attention to core and critical modules.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies

  • Participate in functional discussions with Product Managers/Owners and provide designs and estimates required for the evolution of existing functionality and development of new functionality.

  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure successful cross product integrations and standards alignment

Position Requirements

What You Will Bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in a technical or scientific discipline.

  • Experience in organizing your own and team activities based on available experience and skills and given deadlines

  • Proven ability to analyze specific functional and business requirements and to estimate time/resource needs based on team skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience delivering software within a SAAS multi-tenant environment with requirements for high availability/reliability.

  • More than 5 years of experience in independent design and development of server-side and web-based Java applications

  • Ideally proficient in full stack Java J2EE web application development including:

    • browser-based client development using modern JavaScript libraries (e.g. Dojo, React), CSS, DHTML, XHR and JSON messaging.

    • JavaScript packaging

    • Server-side development including Java servlets, JDBC, RESTful services, EAR and WAR configuration and deployment.

    • Knowledge of general MVC (model view control) methodologies and technologies. Preferred experience in using Spring frameworks.

    • Strong RDBMS experience related to efficiently querying and updating very large datasets.



  • Experience delivering ETL solutions from concept to production.

  • Prefer experience in:

    • Data warehouse concepts

    • Integrating Machine Learning, NLP, and Record Linkage concepts into ETL process flows.

    • tools, servers, and frameworks including Maven, SVN, Tomcat, Wildfly, Apache Server, Oracle, TensorFlow, AWS, SnowFlake. IntelliJ IDEA
