1. Basic Press Operations.
1.1. Responsible for the safe and efficient running of the extrusion press.
1.2. Visually monitor extrusions for quality.
1.3. Responsible for the in-process inspection/verification of parts during extrusion.
1.4. Responsible for inspecting parts after the stretching operation.
1.5. Responsible for relieving Press Team for breaks and lunch.
1.6. Responsible for periodic rack and length checks.
1.7. Monitor and maintain good physical condition of extrusion press and handling equipment.
Additional Task as required may include:
Die Runner.

1.1. Prepare die ovens with die tooling requirements as per extrusion press schedule
1.2. Prepare caustic tanks in die etch and blast dies in media blast room as required
1.3. Place all die tooling back in proper location when die correctors are finished with them
1.4. Able to understand die assembly functions
1.5. Able to operate mechanical sandblaster
Advanced Saw Operations.
2.1. Staging of racks.
2.2. Load metal and spacers into racks.
2.3. Assure saw crew has all needed supplies. (Spacers, foam, cardboard, racks)
2.4. Know how to determine appropriate lengths for orders, set-up, operate and verify work
