ABOUT THE POSITION:

Solution Architect for our Salesforce Emerging Services Practice is a strategic position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in enablement, thought leadership, solution design, and hands-on build work of Salesforce's latest technologies.

 

The Data & Identity Solution Architect will primarily focus on Salesforce CDP (Customer Data Platform) with an awareness of adjacent solutions (CRM, Interaction Studio, and Marketing Cloud).  Lev is looking for an experienced architect that can be one of the first to navigate the CDP trail.


RESPONSIBILITIES:          


  • Work as part of an overall delivery team to deliver a legendary customer experience on Salesforce solutions.

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce CDP (formerly Customer 360 Audiences.)

  • Be one of the first to learn the new technologies.  Enablement will vary with different degrees of support from Salesforce, the Partner community, and self-guided training.

  • Be comfortable learning new technologies by quickly creating POCs and performing robust exploratory testing. Emerging Services team members will be learning tools oftentimes at the same time as they are implementing, consulting, and teaching others.

  • Lead consultative engagements with customers on business goals and challenges.

  • Architect a detailed solution tailored to customers' goals, taking into account their current and future-state environment.

  • Effectively communicate and present the design, positive impacts, and limitations of proposed solutions to customers.

  • Approach each customer as unique, ensuring that their environment, skill set, internal processes, and business structure are accounted for in overall designs.

  • Build and fully test the solutions as designed, working with customers to iterate through modifications and revisions.

  • Document design and/or maintenance processes as necessary.

  • Provide in-depth training as appropriate to ensure customers are self-sustaining.

  • Collaborate with other team members to validate solutions, solve technical challenges, and share knowledge.

  • Average of 10% travel, up to 25%, to client locations throughout the U.S.

  • Perform other duties required and assigned.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years implementing Salesforce solutions for external customers, with a focus on Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud

  • 2+ years working with CDP, data reconciliation, identity resolution, or similar technologies

  • 2+ years working on or with marketing teams

  • Experience going deep into clients' current processes to fully understand the nature of their business, while identifying how and why their business goals are critical.

  • Demonstrated track record in learning new technologies quickly

  • Previous role that involved working with relational data models and data integrations into multiple systems

 Preferred:


  • Experience working as part of or with development teams.

  • Experience with identity solutions and identity concepts

  • Experience designing and delivering a training program tailored to clients' needs. Training should be appropriate for individuals at varying levels within a client's organization and with varying degrees of technical abilities.

  • Experience mentoring individuals in an equal or less senior role.

  • Comfort with engagements of almost any size
