As the Specialist, AR Coding, you'll ensure that our customers information is validated, guaranteeing error free customer Data in XPO's Customer Information System (CIS). You'll be responsible for updating corporate hierarchy relationships and customer-specific data elements and attributes. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Set up and maintain key elements of new customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate billing transaction processing


• Research corporate hierarchy relationships during mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Based on research make the necessary changes to customer accounts


• Research and analyze the impact of data update(s) and hierarchy changes on transaction processing for credit terms, pricing, order capture, invoicing, collections and cash application


• Ability to deduce customer setup/ updates using logic and independent judgement


• Process change requests from collections to ensure proper grouping of accounts and locations for collection-related grouping associations

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in accounting, invoicing or freight audit


• Experience in OTC, Coding, accounts receivable or accounts payable


• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines


• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities


• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with customers, associates and management in a professional manner

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience


• Experience working with customer master file systems is preferred


• Experience researching and updating company hierarchies changes due to mergers, acquisitions, and divestures is preferred


• Freight LTL, Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industry experience preferred.


• Demonstrated ability to follow up, multitask, and prioritize


• Ability to work independently and as a team with shared responsibilities
