A Director of Membership leads and directs Membership Sales in the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans to maximize club membership. Responds to inquiries, initiates new club sales with prospective members and business associates. Oversees the budget and all financial aspects of the operation. Develops and implements strategic plan. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
What will I be doing?
Participate in the process to create Club structure and Club documents, including Membership Plan, Rules and Regulations, Applications and all other necessary documents
Develop and implement Sales & Marketing Strategies
Maintain Sales Database
Define local, regional and national target markets for prospective members
Create and maintain Club collateral
Review documents, pricing, existing sales and marketing strategies
Analysis and management of prospective membership demographics, prospects lists and rejection list.
Plan, organize and implement prospective member events
Create and maintain comprehensive member Club communications, coordinate member activities, programs and publication of member newsletter
Maintain website in collaboration with the resort marketing office.
Act as membership liaison to the Resort Executive Committee
Establish Advisory Board, Polls and comprehensive quarterly reports pertaining to the needs of the membership
Assist and direct in new member orientation
Resolve member issues
Establish and track members' spending statistics
Define Club organizational chart and job descriptions
Develop Club policies and procedures including S.O.P's training tools for the Club team
Attend New Employee Orientations

Private Club understanding and experience in either operations or sales
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Five years minimum management experience
Extensive knowledge of Excel/ Word/ email and database maintenance.
Experience in preparing strategic plans, budgeting, forecasting and review of financial statement for a club operation
