Responsibilities

We are hiring an individual who has experience in enabling, fostering, and mentoring continuous improvement cross-functionally within Dematic.   We are now hiring for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager, in the North American region.  This role will focus on initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma methodologies and tools, along with possessing skills in Agile, Value Stream Management and Daily Improvement Management systems.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze processes and identify waste and low value activities and concurrently be able to take the lead in implementing change.

Role & Responsibilities


  • Manages functional level value stream project life cycle

  • Lead complex C.I projects and/or events across multiple functions

  • Analyze business functions

  • Coaches Lean principles to multi-level employees and executives

  • Establish measurable standards

  • Completes complex projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation, and control.

  • Use your problem-solving skills to foresee obstacles and make strategic decisions



Qualifications

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Master’s Degree desired

  • Minimum 10 years of Lean / Six Sigma process improvement experience desired

  • LSS Black Belt certification and/or SME.org Lean Gold certification

  • Knowledge and practice of Daily Management Improvement systems strongly preferred

  • Experience applying Lean Six Sigma systems to a portfolio of projects

  • Experience in the selection, development and analysis of performance metrics strongly preferred

  • Experience in establishing and sustaining effective KPI/metric-driven standards and governance

  • High level of competency in team building, interpersonal relationship building and influence without authority is required
