$1,000 Bonus!
Through the end of September, we’ll start you off with a $250 bonus just for joining our team, and add another $250 bonus after just 3 months with us.


Our Assistant Daycare Teacher helps with the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate childcare program curriculum. Assistant Daycare Teachers provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and within families.



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • HS Diploma/GED required.

  • One year experience working with children required.

  • Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.

  • Submission of NYS Medical Statement of Childcare Staff Form documenting physician clearance to work in a childcare setting as well as TB Test which meets Health and Social Service requirement.

  • Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood borne Pathogens to be completed within 30 days of hire.

  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of computers.

  • Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.

All certifications, diplomas and/or credentials must be presented in the documents section for consideration.


Full-Time Positions available in Delanson with full Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pension!


Starting Rate is $12.88 per hour.

Experience

Required
  • 2 year(s): Direct experience with children under age 13.
Preferred

  • 1 year(s): Previous experience with diverse populations.

  • 1 - 2 years: Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting.

  • 1 year(s): Experience in a supervisory capacity.

Education

Preferred

  • High School Diploma/GED or better

  • Some college or better in Elementary Education or related field

  • Associates or better in Early Childhood Education or related field
