Job Description:

Equifax is searching for a Product Management Leader for our Identity and Fraud products and technology delivery platforms.  These products will allow access to a variety of consumer and commercial data sources, analytics, attribution & modeling tools, a robust rules engine, workflow management, and reporting tools.  These products also offer automated real time solutions for prospecting, account acquisition and customer account management.  The Sr. Director will own and influence a portfolio and drive the strategy and execution. 

The Sr. Director will have experience with product management and managing business-to-business products.  In addition to managing the various products in the Identity and Fraud market, the Sr. Director will also manage a team of Product Managers.

What you’ll do:

• Achieves revenue and market share targets defined in fiscal year plans for products.




• Leads efforts in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to the overall company planning process.  




• Works with industry consultants, sales and customers to identify and establish appropriate product markets for short and long-term investment.




• Oversees analysis of current and future markets, technology and competitive trends to support strategy, and product development.




• Drives product life cycle analysis and determines life cycle position and value to the company.




• Drives strategy and product plans based on results.  




• Develops business plans and product line plans based on life cycle and market analysis, historical financial performance and competitive analysis.  




• Works with Accounting/Finance, providing input to analysis regarding return on investment and profitability analysis.




• Provides business planning guidance and counsel to senior management to support overall company objectives and communicates with other internal groups including engineering, technical communications, corporate communications, and customer service regarding product and market planning.




• Provides input and direction in the development of market positioning for products and product lines, pricing, packaging, and product placement.




• Supports sales force by providing current information on product developments and competitive market positioning.




• Stays current with industry and market trends.  




• Attends user group meetings, trade shows, and seminars as required to support product marketing programs.




• Stays current on regulatory changes that impact our fraud and risk tools and determines our go forward strategies to address these changes.




• Travel requirement: up to 25%.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, technology product management or working with technology related products and services.




• Previous experience leading and managing a product and cross functional teams.




• Experience in defining and managing products.




• Working knowledge of Software as a Service, enterprise software platforms and applications.




• Experience owning a large product portfolio while increasing revenue, profitability and expanding in various markets and industries.




• Experience in Identity, Fraud & Compliance.

The ideal candidate will also have the following:

• Experience working in cloud-based technology environments.




• Understanding of the basic concepts of product management, marketing and go-to-market, product development and product delivery, including experience managing a team of product managers.




• Industry experience working in a credit-related business area.




• Experience at an information-based company.
