What You’ll Do 

 


  • Planning & Delivery (P&D) Framework & Runbook Adoption Champion to include:



    • Tool usage & standards (Aha! & JIRA)


    • Demand management & continuous planning (work intake, prioritization)


    • Financial management & planning (business case support, financial reviews & budget management)


    • Dependency reviews, oversight and tracking




  • Tribe Operational Support:



    • Support the definition of clear PI objectives and aids the team in meeting those outcomes


    • Facilitate and orchestrate issue escalation and resolution


    • Identify areas of tribe process improvement and drives roadmap improvements


    • Facilitate tribe leadership core team alignment


    • Coordinate tribe-level P&D reporting based on the status received from Scrum Master(s) and Product Owner (PO)(s)


    • Own PI planning and communications (monthly or quarterly planning sessions), which include coordination of backlog grooming at epic, user story and task levels prior to the PI planning sessions


    • Act as master of Scrum Masters by handling escalations coming from the scrum teams​



Qualifications 


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of skills & experience


  • 7+ years experience managing IT Projects & managing full software development life cycle (SDLC) projects


  • 2+ hands-on experience with Agile tool sets (JIRA or Confluence preferred)


  • 3+ years experience managing scrum masters & teams

  • Agile / SAFE Certification Certified Scrum Master preferred


  • Aha! 


  • Ability to read financial trackers 


  • Excellent written and verbal communication.


  • Experience translating complex requirements into tasks for development teams to execute on.


  • Research, investigate and analyze requests with minimal oversight or guidance. Must be able to own and see tasks through to completion without significant guidance. 


  • Demonstrate proficiency to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions through deductive reasoning.
