Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is looking for a Clinical Lead (RN) to join our team at Riverside Pediatric Associates in Columbus, OH! This person will be responsible for leadership, mentoring, and technical support to the clinical team to ensure the quality of patient care. Position will be full-time working Monday- Friday 8:30a-5p or 9a-5:30p.

POSITION(S) SUPERVISED:  Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA). 

Lead Responsibilities:

• Manages patient and team expectations and works closely with manager to identify needs. Acts as a backup when manager is out of the office.


• Develop effective working relationship office manager, COPC physicians, and staff.


• Ability to assess, delegate, and supervise clinical care management responsibly.


• Assists in training/orienting and be a resource to clinical personnel. Responsible for daily schedule of work assignments and operations. May need to cover other employees' work responsibilities to ensure work is completed.


• Take lead as the Safety and Health Officer.


• Managing storage, inventory, and ordering of supplies and medication.


• Maintain and implement policies and procedures. Ensure control logs for equipment and supplies are being maintained properly.


• Maintains strictest confidentiality and is HIPAA compliant

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Recording patient medical, social and family history.


• Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).


• Completing injections, blood draws and EKG's for patients.


• Triage Calls


• Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.

Requirements:

• RN Credential in the State of Ohio


• 2 years of RN experience required


• Previous pediatric experience required


• Previous experience in a lead role preferred


• Ability to work in phone triage or on the clinical floor


• Ability to work as a team and display a positive attitude
