Sales Engineer

Miami, FL (Remote Possible)

Direct Hire



As Sales Engineer, you will use your technical knowledge and client management expertise to help grow and develop our client's Network OS presence in North America as part of a global conglomerate bringing the world to everyone's block. You will liaise with other team members while being a technical key point of contact for our potential customers. Your main objective is to improve our client's sales productivity and deal flow by providing technical expertise for complex solutions.



Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Support resources, and interact with key customer technical decision-makers to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs. Your mission includes the following:

Supporting the Business Development (BD) team in their sales campaigns and helping to identify and quantify our client's value proposition and the best solution for their needs.

Work with the BD to present the client's vision, value & strategy to clients and prospects using a variety of methods.

Configuring our client's to actively demonstrate their functionalities and capabilities that are the most relevant to the prospect's needs and how our client can solve them.

Supporting prospects in their evaluation of our client and answering their technical questions suggesting best practice solutions to complex problems

Scoping and building POCs and/or participate in Pilot engagements, helping customers see the product fit in their environment.

Contribute to client SOW process by creating Data Flows, Tech SOWs, and contract language as needed.

Be the main technical point of contact within our client's BD team and represent our client in a manner that is line with the company's mission, and vision.

Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customers met and unmet needs, and recommend optimum solutions and support.

You will naturally impress prospects and customers by acting as the lead technical expert during product demonstrations, in person or through webinars.

Develop competitive analysis sheets to support our client's BD teams.

Collaborate with Product Management and Support teams on technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alert the sales teams to potential risks of deal closure.

Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.



Requirements:

Experience in Technical Sales

A minimum of 4 years' client-facing experience in Solution Engineering / Solution Consulting / Sales Engineering for complex enterprise solutions and services

Previous experience with SaaS software, Consumer platforms, Digital Platforms, (Bonus for Infrastructure as a Service) and keen understanding of the Mobile APP world.

Passion for sales and for bringing in real results.

Interest in technical details and software in general

Comfortable learning new applications in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication, listening and time management skills.

Excellent demonstration skills with the ability to 'pivot'

Experience in customer-facing activities in a B2B environment.

Ability to popularize technical information for a general audience.

Superior presentation skills

Ability to travel as required, up to 25% per month (Max)

Keen eye for detail and quality

Strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive projects with limited guidance

Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Bachelor in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
