Summary


Perform various duties in support of the Corporate Finance Department's activities including aircraft asset management, fleet analysis, fleet transactions, contract management, capital raising activities and negotiation of aircraft-related acquisition, sale, and maintenance activities.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills required to effectively manage large, multi-party, internal and external projects.


* Strong attention to detail required in all aspects of the position.

* Strong intellect and analytical aptitude required, along with ability to manage multiple and varied activities.


* Good negotiation skills essential in order to appropriately advance the company's agenda in asset management, acquisitions and dispositions as well as to successfully resolve commercial and technical disputes.

* Advanced degree in Business, Finance or related field.


* Experience in the airline industry.



Job Duties


* Perform and assemble analysis of new and/or supplemental aircraft types.


* Participate in the negotiation and documentation of aircraft acquisitions.


* Responsibility for broader fleet plan covering aircraft retirement schedules and new fleet needs.


* Manage the disposal of aircraft and aircraft-related assets.


* Oversee the company's asset planning with respect to power plant and airframe assets.


* Negotiate agreements for the maintenance and support of Allegiant's aircraft related assets.


* Assist and support with the induction and delivery of aircraft in various global locations.


* Heavy cross departmental interaction with respect to fleet spending, including maintenance, accounting, tax, FP&A, Procurement and network planning departments.


* Perform valuations, lease vs. buy studies, and other aircraft related analysis.


* Perform post-purchase and post-lease contract management activities (reimbursements, owner/seller notifications, coordination of financial details with accounting, etc.).


* Oversight of major consignment agreements for aircraft and engine related parts.


* Manage lease activities of Allegiant's asset management subsidiary.


* Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.


* Assist with Allegiant's capital raising activities.


* Negotiate and resolve contractual and/or technical issues, as required.


* Handle U.S., Mexican (and other international) aircraft registration issues.


* Other duties as assigned.

Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
