We're looking for a Product Manager who desires owning multiple, complex software products that have a huge impact on research and ultimately human health. In this fast-paced and rapidly growing research informatics group, we have an opportunity for someone to help manage and grow our software strategy, including connected instruments (IoT), cloud, and desktop.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing desktop and cloud software from conceptual stages through product life cycle to meet customer needs. Additionally, this person will be responsible for meeting marketing, financial, and growth objectives (increase product sales, identify product opportunities and improvements, create effective marketing campaigns and provide sales and product support.)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new or more complex software products in collaboration with instrument teams.


• Develop and execute tactical plans, including product positioning, that drive product sales, adoption, and profitability.


• Defines and conducts ongoing research analyses (VOC) on software product offerings and market conditions in order to define a product development roadmap in support of BR revenue objectives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Life Sciences, advanced degree or MBA preferred.


• 5-7 years of marketing experience in the Life Sciences industry or closely related fields.


• Experience in software product development, marketing and support for Life Sciences (experience managing data analysis solutions and/or connected instrument software a plus).


• Proven experience in delivering tangible results in a product development capacity by successfully launching and bringing new products to market on time and within budget.


• Experience in managing competing priorities, while balancing short term and long term goals.
