Job Highlights
Monitor and track all domestic and/or international shipments to assure "on time delivery" of all product.
Work closely with LAB Management team to measure and drive process adherence and identify improvement opportunities
Review and analyze both freight forwarder and SAP order tracking reports for outliers and collaborate with cross-functional team(s) to resolve any discrepancies.
Work collaboratively with business partners in Planning, Global Logistics, Customer Service, and external Freight Forwarders to update/resolve any shipping/delivery related issues.
Support, on an as needed basis, Site Logistics functions to ensure all documentation is generated and inventory is available in a timely fashion to meet requested delivery date
Highly collaborative role with both internal and external business partners and stakeholders across the business unit
Requirements
Working toward a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance
Continued employment into the Fall on a part-time basis
Great statistical and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving
High proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel (i.e VLOOKUP, PIVOTS, etc.)
Experience with SAP, JD Edwards, ORACLE or related ERP systems preferred but not essential
Knowledge of MRP concepts, demand/supply planning concepts preferred but not essential
Independent self-starter, capability to learn quickly and take initiative to complete assigned tasks
