Details:

A Commissioning Engineer position is available with a service client located within the domestic US. This position involves heavy travel (75%) to commission, test and verify new automation throughout the U.S. Great opportunity for junior engineers who are ready to start a rewarding pathway to other areas of automation such as control system design, PLC and HMI programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Debug various automation systems
* Engage in some configuration and minor programming
* Test system performance
* Verification and validation of engineered system (hardware and/or software) to specifications
* Interface with clients and subcontractors and resolve problems and issues satisfactorily
* Design pre-punched enclosures and subpanels utilizing AutoCAD
* Create and update project 'workbook,' pre-check electrical drawings for accuracy/completeness, UL requirements prior to quoting and material ordering

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or, Computer Engineering or related field
* 1-3 years' experience in automation, control system design, PLC and HMI programming
* Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles
* Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes
* VFD experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens or Schneider is a plus but not required
* PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix), Modicon and Siemens (S7) is a plus but not required
* HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Ignition and WinCC is a plus but not required
* AutoCAD experience to create electrical drawings and schematics.
* Skilled in Engineering science: Logic and Programming
