Job Summary

 

The Sales & Finance Analyst is an active member of the Finance team providing accurate, actionable and data-based information on company’s performance for use by management. 

             

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Provide analytical, reporting and project support to various levels of management.


• Work directly with VP of Sales and Sales Directors on daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales performance reporting.


• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports which include financial reports, key metrics and variance analysis.


• Identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement within the organization.


• Manages the calculation and payment of all customer, distributor and/or employee discounts, rebates and/or commission including accrual preparation.


• Support Controller and accounting staff on monthly forecasts and annual budget process.


• Reconciles transactions and accounts by comparing, correcting and presenting data.

 

Position Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance plus two years of relevant experience.


• Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, macros, etc.).


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to prioritize competing tasks.


• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability. 


• Willingness and ability to develop internal customer relationships.


• CFA, CPA or CMA a plus.
