Ecostruxure Competency Center Consultant:

What do you get to do in this position?

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve Automation equipment, components, and system for Industrial Automation EcoStruxure Plant solutions to support Digital Plant line of business country sales organizations and Internal Schneider delivery team.
• Validate technical architecture drawings and specifications of automation system, components, and equipment to ensure that EcoStruxure Plant system are specified, correctly proposed, designed, developed, and commissioned to a high level of quality that meets customer requirements and country Automation standards.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications.
• Coordinate Automation equipment, components, and systems testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
• Work with sales teams to understand client requirements to design, modify, and improve EcoStruxure Plant solutions.
• Work with product developers, other experts, and country engineers to develop or modify industrial automation solutions in response to the most complex customer demands.
• Validate engineering bidding documents, promote system offers to End Users and System Integrators, and liaise with cross-border resources in the context of international projects.
• Involved in the creation of technical materials, including technical workshop, technical guides, and whitepapers to explain Automation solution to existing and prospective customers.
• 40% domestic and international travel required to visit local sales organizations, customers, industry leaders, internal delivery team, and to participate in user conferences and trade shows.

This job might be for you if:

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires an Associates degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of work experience in designing and building industrial automation systems.

Must have work experience with:

(1). 3 years of experience with operation and optimization of SCADA, Historian, Batch, and Control Expert;

(2). 3 years of experience utilizing system software;

(3). 3 years of experience with controls and connectivity including PACs and industrial networking (Level 2 and Level 3 networks);

(4). 3 years of experience utilizing field devices, including iMCC, drives, power meters, and instrumentation (HART, profibus) to integrate all devices in an automation offer;

(5). 3 years of technical workshop delivery experience;

(6). 2 years of experience with automation domain in Mining, Metal, Minerals, Cement, Water, and Waste Water; and

(7). 1 year of experience utilizing system software to develop automation solutions.
