Director of Plant Operations

YOUR ROLE


  • Manages all operations as well as service / support department at factory level
  • Implements a long-term production strategy to ensure efficient production and high quality products
  • Delivers against plant performance KPIs, budget and projects
  • Sets up and executes development plans for plant personnel
  • Ensures operations processes and solutions are implemented according to global procedures and local regulations
  • Ensures that all legal requirements and corporate standards are in place and in compliance
  • Has legal responsibility for fulfilling SHEQ requirements
  • Acts as company representative and key contact for local authorities and workers unions / councils in the area of responsibility
  • Is responsible for the Investment plan, Capex application and Fixed Asset accounting
  • Is responsible for application of Corporate Standards in the area of responsibility
  • Is responsible for application of all programs in Henkel Production Systems (HPS) to steer the OEE in a continuous improvement approach

YOUR SKILLS

  • BA/BS Degree minimum (Chemistry and/or related fields), MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience in chemical production management.
  • Must possess expertise in the areas of Hazmat, Emergency Response, OSHA requirements, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, and 5S.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), especially presentation skills to all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to set and meet specific and measurable goals and objectives.
  • Exhibited knowledge of applicable products and applications.
  • Exhibits leadership skills.
  • SAP/PC proficiency.
