Position Summary:


The Administrator in Training (AIT) is a paid training position that meets the requirements for an Administrator in Training program.  As an AIT at Enlivant, you will complete the training program by working with one of our Executive Director Preceptors.


Responsibilities:



  • Spend time training in all of the essential functions of an assisted living community as required for completion of the AIT program

  • Working with the Preceptor to ensure compliance with all rules, laws, regulations, policies and procedures within the community

  • Ensures a high degree of resident and team satisfaction at the community

  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • (1) Associate's Degree  or higher from an accredited college in a health care related field or (2) a Bachelor’s degree in a field other than in health care from an accredited college and one year of experience working in a health care related field having direct contact with one or more of the client groups identified under DHS 83.02 (16) or (3) a Bachelor’s degree in a field other than in health care from an accredited college 

  • At least two years’ experience working in a health care related field having direct contact with one or more of the client groups (DHS 83.02 (16)  

  • A valid nursing home administrator’s license issued by the department of safety and professional services 

  • Must meet your state’s minimum qualifications to be eligible to sit for state certification, where applicable

  • Exceptional problem solving and time management skills

  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work up to the 10 daily hours allowed in the AIT program as needed

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position
