DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and develop software applications within mature technology environments. Write scripts for improved and efficient automation. Analyze user requirements, define functional and technical specifications, develop code, perform test, and implement production using agile methodology. Analyze software test results to identify deficiencies and limitations in application architecture, procedures, and processes. Coordinate source code management and control for improved configuration management. Ensure the integrity of pre-production environment and sync-up with production for improved configuration, incident, and problem management. Participate in development of disaster recovery policies. Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders and exercise policies to ensure application contingency is compliant with system specifications. Prepare operational procedures and end user documentation of modifications and enhancements to applications and systems. Create test approach, strategies, plans, user manuals, and deployment procedures to meet high quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Application/Software Developer, Technology Product Specialist, Technology Analyst, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: coding, debugging, inspecting, and writing with programming languages including TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL, TACL script, C, and C++; root cause analysis of application problems and issues; ATM and POS switch; online transaction processing; financial networks; card authentication and authorization; ACI Base24 classic software; and EMV Issuer and Acquirer.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
