Lead Software Engineer - Devops
As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will lead efforts to install software in the cloud, identify infrastructure requirements, provide solutions for challenges along the way and participate in every step of the software delivery lifecycle. You will use your devops experience to ensure stability while automating and accelerating software delivery.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Configuring and managing software and optimizing processes through automation
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to multi task and prioritize with urgency
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, create proof of concepts, design and implement solutions as a Technical Lead.
• Expertise in modern DEVOPS stack: Git / Jenkins / Maven / Gradle / Jmeter and ability to troubleshoot its processes
• Hands on experience with container technology using Kubernetes, Docker desired; AWS, Azure experience is a plus
• Experience with system integration and application container troubleshooting (server deployments, application startups, connectivity, load balancing, firewalls, performance etc)
• Proficiency (7+ years experience) in one or more modern programming languages and web technologies, preferably Java
• Good knowledge of scripting languages: Groovy / Python / UNIX Shell
• Working knowledge of log analysis and monitoring platforms like Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with migrating applications to the cloud
• User or DBA experience with relational databases : Oracle / DB2
• Experience in IAC technologies like Terraform
