We are looking for a creative junior/mid-level visual designer who will be responsible for crafting intuitive experiences for our enterprise products at JPMorgan Chase & Co. You will be part of the Corporate Technology Data Platforms User Experience team, delivering creative solutions for complex UX/UI problems that includes data visualizations, dashboards, forms, and technical user flows. You will have experience with Figma and understanding of each stage of the design process from research to the final deliverable. You will be collaborating with other UX designers and researchers to come up with new features and enhancements for multiple products. Ultimately, you will have thorough understanding of user needs and information hierarchy.

For this role, we want someone who has a strong sense of aesthetics who cares about detail, such as micro-interactions and prototyping to bring a design to completeness. The successful candidate will sit within our central User Experience team in either Columbus, New Jersey, or Texas. If you can explain why you're that person, we want you!

What you'll be doing

• Designing intuitive experiences with focus on micro-interactions that align with our internal design system and standards.
• Pairing with lead designer and to produce quality UI aesthetics and deliverables.
• Collaborate with research and product team to understand user needs and inform the best design solution.
• Presenting your creative work and ideas, seeking feedback from your design peers and stakeholders.
• Contributing to our design system and component library.

What you'll need

• A graduate of a bachelor's degree in human interaction, user experience, visual communication, or other related field.
• 2+ years experience (can include internships, class projects, freelance)
• Openness and desire to learn and develop with problem solving mindset.
• Strong skills Adobe Creative Suite, LucidSpark, and Figma.
• Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team with subject matter experts varying from accessibility specialists to data architects.
• Comfortable formulating and expressing ideas or design solutions to a broad audience.
