What you will be doing:
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
Verify accuracy and quality of deliveries to the Hotel with “hands on” analysis of items with drivers
Direct deliveries to storage destinations and assist with the transportation of such items when necessary
Ensure proper storage of deliveries into inventory rooms as designated
Monitor and replenish stock/counts through agreed upon par levels
Maintain stock and supply areas with accuracy, detailed signage, proper positioning, cleanliness of spaces, and organization
Authorize daily requisitions in a timely fashion and insure proper record keeping of all paperwork
Gather, build, and issue daily food and beverage daily requisitions
Champion our Fedex process of outgoing items, ensuring properly boxed/packed, labeled and recorded
Own the loading dock and receiving area to ensure cleanliness and organization
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all health and safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in hotels preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications
Service focused personality and passion for hospitality
Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to organize and prioritize based on department needs to maintain team flow and efficiency
Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly
