Summary: Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Supports users of one or more applications through programming or testing.


• Generally works on selected areas of multiple applications or several areas within a single application.


• References and understands application and system documentation to support testing or programming efforts with some assistance from more experienced IT specialists.
  


• Develops new documentation as necessary.


• Has a developed area of concentration such as: installation, basic design, configuration, specialized testing, or application maintenance.


• Applies knowledge of the users' operations, integration into IT standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications' use.


• Works as a member of a larger team of individuals with more advanced skills.


• Employs industry standard toolsets.

Require Experience:

• 2+ years in IT application support positions


• Technical knowledge with aspects of specific application solutions.


• Familiar with basic coding and SLDC processes and procedures.




• Prefer training or experience with current industry development tools and standards.

Education: Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required
