RTI-Health Solutions(RTI-HS) provides scientifically rigorous research and consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. Our research and consulting services focus on health economics and outcomes research. Our various practice areas include: Market Access and Outcomes Strategy, Health Economics, Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment, Pharmacoepidemiology, Surveys and Observational Studies, Biostatistics, Clinical Services, and Health Preference Assessment.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President(SVP), Health Economics(HE), the Senior Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive administrative support to the SVP and to other HE team members as necessary. To be successful in this role, you will bring your strong administrative experience, excellent multi-tasking skills, and the ability to demonstrate pro-active leadership in all administrative matters.

Working across all levels of both HE and RTI-HS, you must have proven time management skills with the ability to apply judgment to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment, exercising a high level of tact and integrity, especially as it applies to highly confidential data.

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Complete expense reports for all supported staff and assist staff with Time & Expense system questions

  • Process and track purchase requisitions and subcontractor, consultant, and purchase order requests using the RTI Health Solutions' systems

  • Prepare monthly departmental publication report for senior management. Research missing information online as needed

  • Prepare detailed agendas for large conferences with departmental commitments, times, locations, and staff attendance.

  • Submit manuscripts on behalf of department and collect all relevant missing information from project manager or online research (author contact information, suggested reviewers contact information, copyright transfer forms, authorship forms, contracts guidance). Ensure manuscript is in compliance with journal specifications

  • Assist with recruitment efforts - Schedule phone screenings and face-to-face interviews for employment candidates (calendar notices, day-of-interview schedule, travel and transportation for candidate if required, associated expenses, catering, conference room reservations, AV setup)

  • Conduct new hire employee orientation (set up office, schedule introductory and ongoing meetings, order business cards, train on timesheet system, complete IT and admin checklist, distribute HS handbook and information, etc.)

  • Manage the scheduling and execution of internal and external meetings (including coordination of MS Outlook meeting requests, conference room reservation, catering, AV setup, telephone/web conference lines/links)

  • Coordinate travel arrangements including airfare, hotel, and ground transportation requirements

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned








Qualifications


  • Requires High School Diploma and 10+ years of directly related experience, or

  • 2-year degree with 2-5 years of directly related experience

  • Demonstrated experience providing support at the senior level

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat programs

Preferred:


  • Demonstrated familiarity with Deltek Vision
