Avaya's Cloud strategy is strong and gaining tremendous momentum in the marketplace. In this position you are the subject matter expert responsible for supporting our US Federal and State / Local Government and Education (SLED) account teams with the charge of converting Avaya's lucrative premise base and greenfield US Federal and SLED government customers to an Avaya OneCloud platform.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated success selling FedRAMP and B2B cloud solutions to a diverse set of customers, particularly the US Federal and SLED sector and their contractors, as well as the ability to drive business discussions with all relevant decision makers, influencers and users inside a prospect organization. #LI-HK1
Initial, onboard learning will be as part of the OneCloud Engagement Team. Responsibilities include field team engagement, client pitch, sales motion identification, deal qualification, standard deal sales cycles and quoting construct development. Primary leads for OneCloud Subscription, Standard OneCloud and Renewal process for Subscription and Cloud-qualified deals.
You will lead the effort in generating sales demand for Avaya OneCloud solutions within the US Federal and SLED sector; carrying a quota specific to the Avaya OneCloud portfolio solutions you are assigned
You will ensure the account teams you support are able to drive a meaningful discussion and sales cycle for Avaya OneCloud opportunities
You will own the process of opportunity qualification and requirements identification in order to properly align client needs to the right solution
You will drive the engagement of all applicable specialist teams required to support the sale
Demonstration, Transparency and Accountability-Manage your business thoroughly in Salesforce.com on a daily, weekly, quarterly basis
EXPERIENCE
Emphasis on selling to US Federal, State, Local, Education sector. Succeeding through their buying processes
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Working knowledge of communication platforms and applications will be useful could speed your path to success
Working understanding of business communication surrounding cloud environment connectivity could be a plus

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Cloud sales practical experience
10 years of relevant experience in SaaS Cloud Computing Sales focusing on federal and SLED government clients
TS SCI Clearance preferred or agree to submission for security clearance
