Job Description


Ryan Companies, US Inc has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis! This role will provide monthly construction revenue and profit analysis, reporting projections and supporting specific regional construction teams.


This position will work directly with the Regional Finance Manager to develop systems and processes to provide projection reporting, develop ad-hoc analytical tools, and support the Regional Vice Presidents of Operations. This position will also perform professional level accounting and financial analysis in the maintenance and review of fiscal records.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Advanced financial statement review.

  • Support monthly forecasting plus routine analytical/run rate support to regions.

  • Lead initiatives related to collaboration with the operational areas of the business.

  • Construction job forecasting and budgeting.

  • Regional and sector financial statement forecasting and budgeting.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as necessary.

  • Monthly forecast variance revenue and profit analysis and revenue and profit reconciliations.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field of study is required.

  • Candidates with at least 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.

  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical mindset.

  • CPA is strongly preferred.

  • Have a considerable understanding of intermediate accounting principles, and the ability to work independently to complete duties on deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Have experience with analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. preferred), Hyperion/PBCS software, and Enterprise system (SAP, JD Edwards, etc.) and the ability to adapt to advancing technology.

  • Possess intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
