This individual can be located in any of our major markets and will lead Ryan's national Information Services platform by developing information technology and data strategies and tactics that transform the organization to achieve its overarching strategic goals. Job Description

Reporting to the company's Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, the CIO oversees the company's Information System's team of 30 people. This candidate will deliver reliable, high-performance information systems and infrastructure that support the company's growth goals. With a customer-centric approach, the CIO will deliver support to all Ryan's business operations while maintaining the integrity and security of the company's IT environment.

The CIO wears many hats:

THE OPERATOR: The CIO will work with the IT organization and a seasoned executive team to deliver reliable, high-performance IT systems and infrastructure. The CIO will be charged with identifying cost and productivity improvements, developing security frameworks for IT assets, increasing IT process maturity, and improving integration.

THE STRATEGIST: The CIO will work with the IT organization and a seasoned executive team to develop or enhance business partnerships to improve technology-enabled capabilities. The CIO will be charged with defining a clear, IT-enabled business transformation vision and manage complex change programs while continuing to deliver IT services and improve the value of the IT investment portfolio by driving a long-term view on technology investments.

THE TECHNOLOGIST: The CIO will work with the IT organization and a seasoned executive team to optimize the company's use of technology. This leader will be charged with evaluating technology and designing technical architectures to manage complexity and increase business agility.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with 15+ years of relevant experience in a medium to large organization with matrixed responsibilities leading IT, creating business value and driving growth and efficiencies through technology.

Successful candidates will have advanced knowledge and proven ability as a visionary, strategist, innovator, leader, mentor and risk mitigator. Experience in commercial real estate, development and/or construction is a plus. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
