Overview

Summary: The Operator performs the set-up, pressure test, and chloride test, and hardness test of waveguide assemblies using fixtures and hand tools. They will need to follow drawings and process sheets along with verbal instructions in order to meet the product requirements. The documentation and quality requirements will be followed by using written and electronic documentation


Responsibilities


  • Test waveguide components with standard fixtures and gauges.

  • Document results by completing reports and logs.

  • Run a chloride test using PH meter

  • Operate a heat treat oven and use of a hardness tester

  • Ability to read and understand process sheets and blue prints.

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with company regulations.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School diploma (or equivalent)

  • 2+ yrs Manufacturing or Assembly experience

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Good basic math skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Good manual dexterity Ability to read and understand blueprints as well as following verbal and written instructions
