Tech Support Specialist needed for a REMOTEcontract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin, TX.
What You'll Be Doing:
Shift: 10pm-7am, must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Summary:
Provide L1 IT support, like Active Directory, Microsoft applications, follow any process for our IT customers.
Assists users who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services.
Works with users to troubleshoot and resolve first and second-level software and hardware problems and fulfills support requests.
Records accurate user and request information in the Remedy service management system.
Updates and maintains the Work Log with pertinent information for resolving the request.
Escalates higher-level problems to the next level analyst.
Applies knowledge gained to existing case and future cases.
Participates on teams or projects to improve internal processes or services offered to end users.
Required:
Minimum of 1 year technical support experience required.
Possesses excellent customer service skills and represents RICOH in a professional manner.
Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills; is team-oriented, dependable, enthusiastic, self-starting and self-motivated.
Possesses ability to read & comprehend written technical information in form of technical manuals.
Possesses ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment.
Possesses ability to read & comprehend written technical information in form of technical manuals.
Knowledge of Microsoft O/S and configuration and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
