The Web Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding Comagine Health websites, which support several priority initiatives including, data analytics, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), corporate marketing/communications, customer/client services, beneficiary/consumer outreach and information and Web-based common information systems.

What you'll be doing for us:



  • Develop, test, and maintain Comagine Health external and internal websites and web applications

  • Responsible for CMS configuration, module management, creation and maintenance of page templates, custom code and objects, database access, and other areas as required

  • Responsible for server configuration and management

  • Responsible for development standards and best practices, as well as system/application analysis, development, and testing

  • Collaborates with MarCom staff and project staff to enhance the effectiveness of Comagine Health websites to meet business needs

  • Assists with documentation of websites and web applications

  • Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software needs

  • Receives, documents, monitors, and resolves internal support requests, including technical support of web sites and web applications

  • Performs other related duties as required






Required Skills

  • Proficiency with web languages/standards (HTML, XHTML, XML), databases (SQL, MySQL), interactive languages and technologies including JavaScript, PHP, Shell scripting

  • Knowledge of a wide range of web development technologies: servers (Windows/IIS, Linux/Apache), browsers (internet explorer, Edge, Firefox, Chrome), protocols (TCP/IP), security/firewalls, databases, and database connectivity

  • Knowledge of web development concepts and best practices

  • Proficiency with Drupal CMS or equivalent open-source Content Management System

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate user and system needs

  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment

Required Experience


Required Experience:



  • AA / AS in a relevant field (equivalent combination of work experience and education may be substituted)

  • 5 years' experience website and web application development within a business Information Technology environment

  • 3 years' experience administering and maintaining web sites including a combination of managed content and web-based applications

  • 3 years' experience managing web servers (Windows/IIS and Linux/Apache) including web security models and protocols

  • Experience configuring and managing Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.
