This position can be filled at either the Engineer (level 2) or Principal Engineer level (level 3).
Engineer to support power subsystem application on space vehicles. Work with a team of seasoned engineers to design, develop, test, and operate power avionics in a space application.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret requirements and apply them to the design and development of a power architecture
Complete power subsystem trade studies for best application from a technical, schedule and cost perspective
Cross-Collaborate with multiple development projects and team members to reach common solutions
Oversee the design and development of power avionics components
Lead proposals and costing efforts in support of power subsystem application
Support Integration and Test of power avionics at a spacecraft level
Support Mission Operations during launch of spacecraft

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
U.S. citizen
Active or current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
Experience in design, analyses, and/or application of power management and/or distribution electronic assemblies
Experience analyzing system requirements for subsystem application
Experience conducting power trades and analyses
Required experience for Engineer (level 2):
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
At least 2 years of Engineering experience.
Required experience for Principal Engineer (level 3):
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
At least 5 years of Engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Application of power subsystems for spaceflight application
Extensive knowledge of power architectures
Experience designing analog hardware
Experience integrating analog hardware at a system level
Experience with high voltage power systems
