Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be initially located in El Segundo, CA, and eventually transition to Melbourne, FL in approximately 2 years. The selected candidate will be supporting classified programs providing schedule management support. You will work with multiple engineers/control account managers (CAMs) and program leadership to develop program schedules for one or more programs.
Essential Functions:

  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
  • Coordinate schedule development with multiple functional groups such as finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
  • Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.Implement scheduling best practices including DCMA 14-point and IPMR DI-MGMT-8186
  • Work with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Perform Critical Path Analysis
  • Perform Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
  • Review and analyze Schedule Performance and Health Metrics
  • Provide weekly status and reporting
  • Create, maintain and validate Schedule data
  • Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts
  • Utilize Gantt, milestone charts, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variance

Qualifications:




Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in Planning/Scheduling, Program Management, and/or Business Management, or a Master's degree with 8 years of stated experience
  • Active Secret Clearance, awarded/reviewed within the last 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aircraft Development Experience
  • High level of skill and experience with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of various NGAS reporting systems (SAP, MRP, Business Warehouse)
