Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' Undersea Systems Manufacturing team is looking for an Operations Project Manager (OPM) Analyst to serve as support to the current OPMs based out of the Philadelphia, PA facility.
*Please note that this is an individual contributor role and not a management role. What You'll Get to Do:
Support the execution of both production and development programs
Assist in the management of production across electrical, mechanical and acoustic disciplines
Assist OPMs in managing a diverse team of Operations personnel including technicians, engineers, supply chain planners, production control planners, and facilities staff
Assist in the development of production schedules and contribute to the program Integrated Master Schedule
Contribute to the development of manufacturing and production test procedures and processes
Assist with cost account manager (CAM) functions and utilize earned value management (EVM) principles; including generation of manpower planning analyses
Provide labor and material proposal inputs and serve as the Operations proposal lead; including Basis of Estimate and budget/ proposal development
Develop material supporting presentations for NGC upper management and customers
Contribute to material for production and test readiness reviews
Support multiple programs and OPMs with internal metric creation and monitoring; including cost, quality, delivery, and safety
Ideally, the Operations Project Manager Analyst will have a technical background in a hardware engineering discipline; electrical/mechanical manufacturing experience; solid organizational skills; an ability to lead program teams to achieve program milestones and delivery objectives; program planning and scheduling skills; solid communication ability; data analytic skills; dependable; and familiarity with earned value management Knowledge of welding, machining and mechanical/electrical assembly is desired but not required. The ideal candidate will have a background in undersea systems and the unique product lines and manufacturing processes that support such systems. What We Can Offer You:

Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at a Operations Project Manager Analyst or a Principal Operations Project Manager Analyst. Basic Qualifications for a Operations Project Manager Analyst:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Operations Project Manager Analyst:
Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
STEM degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering discipline
Technical background in a hardware engineering discipline
Demonstrated knowledge in both electrical and mechanical manufacturing in a production and development environment
Experience in program planning and scheduling
Experience with earned value management (EVM)
Experience with Material Requirements Planning
Familiarity with SAP
Knowledge of welding, machining, non-metallic bonding and sonar/ molded cable/mechanical/electrical assembly
A background in marine rotating machinery propulsion systems
Current Secret Clearance
